Ayesha Takia

Ayesha Takia Azmi (born April 10, 1986) is a former model and actress from India who mostly played in Hindi movies. In 2004 Ayesha Takia was awarded the Filmfare Best Debut Award for her role as the main character on Taarzan The Wonder Car which made her debut as an actor. The actress later appeared in films like Paathshaala (2011) Wanted (2009) Salaam-E-Ishq (2006) and Socha Na Tha (2007). Her debut cameo was an advertisement for Complan which is a popular healthy drink. Shahid Kapoor was her co-star in their iconic I'm Complan guy I'm Complan gal commercial. The song remix Nahin Nahin Abhi Nahin as well featured her. Her fame grew due to this success during the remixes of India. In the following months, she was receiving invitations to appear in Bollywood film projects. Taarzan The Wonder Car was known late to her debut, which was intended to be in the film Socha Na Tha but was put off by production problems. Ayesha demonstrated moral courage by criticizing her politician husband Abu Azmi, a Samajwadi Party politician. In a PETA India advertisement, she issued a public declaration stating that she is vegan. In 2006, she was ranked as one of the Most Attractive Indian Women.
